I love working with adults recovering from the effects of trauma (childhood or recent), people seeking a greater sense of meaning and balance, individuals who experience voices, visions, and other unique phenomena, and members of the LGBTQ community.

No matter the struggles you’re facing, you're the expert on you. My aim is to provide a safe, curious, and empowering space for you to try out new ways of approaching your struggles and your strengths to see what works best for you. I’ll meet you where you're at while we build the skills you’ll need to face topics which might feel scary or heavy. You'll gain new ideas and alternative ways of tackling difficulties while increasing your trust and access to your personal wisdom and insight.

An anti-oppression framework is embedded in my approach to counseling. Part of good mental health is an awareness of the many intersections of our personal identity and the ways in which we are limited both by personal beliefs and the external systems we interact with. We all have unique and important gifts and counseling is a powerful tool to liberate ourselves to fully appreciate our own humanity, the humanity of others, and the power we each have to change the world.
